About Us

Deb Theisen, owner, became a certified Cosmetologist/Esthetician in 1978.
After working as a stylist for several years, she opened the First Impression SalonSpa in 1983, expanding to the present location in 2001.

Deb has continued her education throughout her career: learning about color, cuts, and business in general, from the many sources provided throughout the cosmetology industry. She has kept in touch with the newest trends by attending classes at international beauty shows in Chicago, New York, Dallas, Seattle, and the World Hair Olympics in London. She has also participated as a platform artist for many different manufacturers nationwide, giving instruction in both cutting and coloring.

Deb is also an owner of
Pine Park Resort. (www.pineparkresort.com) Pine Park Resort has been in her family for over 88 years and is located in the Park Rapids area.

Deb's spare time is occupied with her special companion, Rick, and their two dogs, Sadie & Jazz. They enjoy many facets of life, especially traveling, fishing & snowmobiling.
